Download this event guide to the award-winning, Prince Albert Winter Festival, the biggest Winter Festival in Western Canada. Established in 1964, it hosts the traditional King Trapper Competition, Sled Dog Championship Races, Beerd Derby and a variety of family-friendly events. There are also musical & art shows featuring local northern Saskatchewan talent. These run through the 11 days including the Country North Show, Voices of the North and the new, but wildly popular, Rock Show Experience. There are dozens of main events and activities for locals and visitors to enjoy.

Prince Albert is located on the edge of the boreal forest in beautiful northern Saskatchewan. In 2017, the Prince Albert Winter Festival Society was awarded the Samuel Mcleod Business Award for Tourism for this world-class festival.
